Charles Feinstein, M.D., specializes in urology and currently practices medicine in Chicago as the principal doctor at Dr. Feinstein and Associates, a private surgical facility on Lakeshore Drive in Chicago. He is also currently a part of the medical staff at Weiss Memorial Hospital.
Charles Feinstein was born in Brooklyn, New York. In 1973, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from New York University. For his degree in medicine, Feinstein traveled to Italy, where he studied at the University of Bologna, graduating in 1979. After graduation, he first interned for a year at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, and then he participated in a two-year surgical residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan. From 1982 until 1985, Feinstein completed his urological residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center and at the Cook County Hospital, where he was named Chief Resident in 1984.
Ever interested in keeping pace with contemporary surgical procedures in his field of urogynecology, Feinstein enjoys traveling to various locations in the United States and abroad to attend professional meetings. He often incorporates the techniques that he learns about into his own practice to give his patients the benefit of the newest procedures. He is interested in the lives of his employees and patients and takes pride in the meaningful impact that his work has on his patients and their families.
Charles Feinstein enjoys dancing, gardening, traveling, listening to music, and playing racquetball in his free time. He and his wife, Faye, a partner at the Quarles & Brady law firm, have three children: Michael, Ricky, and Danielle.
